About Cub Scout Pack 168
Cub Scout Pack 168 is a Scouting America Cub Scout Pack serving in Dover, New Hampshire and the surrounding Seacoast Region. The pack chartered by the Parish of the Assumption.
Our Mission
The mission of Pack 168 is to prepare young people in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Our vision is to provide a world-class Scouting program which prepares youth in the Seacoast Region to become responsible, participating leaders who are guided by the ideals of Scouting.
Our History
Cub Scout Pack 168 has served youth in the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire since 2011. As a part of the Dover, New Hampshire community, the pack provides youth opportunities for education, community service, personal growth and adventure since it's founding, with a brief pause in 2023 and rechartering in 2024.
The pack is managed and run by dedicated volunteers and a committed leadership team, who provide countless activities and adventures for our Scouts. Pack leadership provides positive roll models for youth by living the ideals of Scouting.
Chartering Organization
The Parish of the Assumption in Dover, NH is the chartering organization for Cub Scout Pack 168. The parish has been a permanent part of the Dover community since its first church, Saint Aloysius, was constructed in 1828.
Today, the Parish continues to serve the community, with a Catholic ministry at St. Joseph's Church, St. Mary's Church, and the Chapel of the Nativity.
As Pack 168's chartering organization, the parish provides meeting spaces for the Scouts, helps recruit Scouts and adult leaders, and ensures the pack operates in alignment with both Scouting and Parish policies. Our Cub Scout program is one of the many ways that the Parish of the Assumption enriches the Dover community.
